The evening before we took Morgan back to school, I met with this lovely family at Coogee Beach. They had rushed from softball, I had rushed from Kalannie. We met, we stopped, and we had fun in the bush and at the beach and I am so glad I squeezed in a little family time in my schedule. It was a pleasure to meet you all, especially your gorgeous kids!

We are so lucky, to have this on our doorstep, just 30 minutes from the city. I was thrilled to be asked by DAD!!! to come and meet and photograph his family near their home in the hills. To meet his wife and 3 gorgeous kids who enjoyed showing me where they are growing up now. And this is why, ahh that light :

I think we are pretty lucky, to be able to share this amazing country of ours. And the best time to show it off, the golden hour, when it is golden and dreamy. I ventured to Perenjori to spend a few hours with this wonderful family, in the golden hour on their patch. And we were not disappointed, the light danced for us. It was also a small glimpse into how our family will be in 4 years, as our children are spread similarly, (except their last are lively twins), and I can’t wait, because they were just so much fun.

Mark and Teresa celebrated their wedding on a perfect day in September. I was so lucky to spend the day photographing 2 young people in love, surounded by their families. Teresa’s smile was forever plastered on her face, she was just so excited all day, and Mark was so thrilled to be by her side. They were married on the lawn in front of the Mounts Bay Sailing Club. After a beautiful ceremony, their guests enjoyed the foreshore and the very short walk over to the Royal Perth Yacht Club for the reception, the bridal party and I headed off in the beautiful Bellagio stretch limo through UWA and Kings Park and back to rejoin their guests. I had a wonderful afternoon and evening with all of the Sawyers and Arenas. And I wish Mark and Teresa joy and luck on their next adventure
