• Welcome to Jo Ashworth Photography

Hello, What is your story? Let me help me tell it for you. I am a family and wedding photographer based in the small wheatbelt town of Kalannie, I travel to Perth and throughout country WA to meet and share time with clients in their homes and surrounds. I will be a witness for you; soaking up your baby's newborn smell, enjoying your children's laughter, celebrating the years you have been together, and I will present to you a collection of images that are a precious reminder of those most important to you. I love photographing weddings, but only a limited number per year. I want to help tell you story, so until we meet, Jo

Beautiful Bride : South of Perth Yacht Club Wedding

Laura and Casey married at the South of Perth Yacht Club in January. A beautiful balmy day, surrounded by loved family and friends. One image from their wedding that is a fave of mine, more to come soon.

A Beautiful Family in the Dandaragan Bush | Dandaragan Family Photographer

This family is so gorgeous. So much fun, spunk and love. We had a great time playing together in the surrounds of Dandaragan town. Soon after they moved down to Perth and are so glad that they now have beautiful memories on their walls of their family time in this small WA town.

Del + Scott | Nukara Farm Geraldton

I travelled to Gerladton last year to photograph Del and Scott’s wedding day at Nukara Farm. Such a calm and smiley couple, so thrilled to become married. Amongst family and friends who mean so much to them just North of Geraldton.

Del and Scott, there was so much to smile about on your wedding day, so much that my cheeks hurt!

A rare beautiful evening in the last week | Dandaragan Family Photographer

When I had just about given up on the weather over the last month after photographing 4 weddings with hardly a ray of sunshine to speak of, this happened:

A reminder of things to come, while a mild September was just what we needed on the farm, I am looking forward to the gorgeous light that comes with warmer weather.

Brad + Ash | Lake Charlotte Wedding Photographer

Brad and Ash met when they were teenagers, love at first sight across a dusty cut up paddock you could say. They have been there for eachother ever since. Their wedding day was a celebration of them. And, as it turns out, all that was to come in a short time, as their beautiful little girl was in a hurry to join their family. They will be amazing to each other, and their little girl and I wish for them all of their dreams.

Here is their day at Lake Charlotte in Wooroloo:
Firstly the boys – yes it would have been funny if they had actually followed through and fallen in the pool – I was only slightly concerned 🙂

Beautiful girls, where I discovered a special secret.

Lots of tears and smiles:

Oh my goodness, what a fun bridal party!

And some more beautiful moments, and the secret is announced, yay!!!

It was such a special day to be a part of, I enjoyed every minute, even shed quite a few tears.

Thank you Brad and Ash, you are both amazing.
