I want to book with Jo, what happens now? -I will send a client detail form for you to complete, this includes names and ages (of children) so that I have the correct spelling on record. I also ask that you complete the relevant section if you have any specific requests, or special needs.
What to wear?– what ever you are comfortable wearing, but avoid large commercial prints on shirts. Think of a coordinated outfit you would wear yourself and mix and match the colours with everyone in the family. Bright colours work for kids, or beautiful dresses for girls and proper shirts for boys. I can help you choose if you bring a couple of outfits.
How will the session proceed? - I will spend a little time getting to know you and your family. If the location is at your home, I will have a look around to find perfect spots in your house and garden, places that could be special to you, and places that will create lovely images. If we meet somewhere other than your home, we will still spend some time getting to know each other first.
Once I start snapping I rarely stop, I am prone to making strange noises, making funny faces, saying ridiculous things to make children smile, I also have quiet moments and let you and your family just enjoy each other’s company while I capture special interactions between you and yours.
I am guided by how happy the children of the family are. Therefore a sitting could last from 1 hour, once I start taking images, to 2 hours. I am happy to take breaks, and often get more candid images once everyone has relaxed and thinks I have put the camera away.
The session is over what now? – After your session I will post a quick sneak peek on my blog of a couple of images, and then usually within 2 weeks I will have edited your gallery. Once I have notified you that your gallery is online, you will have 1 week to place your order. I am happy to help over the phone or email to customize a package. You are free to share your gallery link with whomever you please. It is however password protected for your security.
Your gallery will contain approximately 30-40 images, often more. I select your gallery images and process them to best suit the image. Your gallery will contain a variety of coloured and black and white images.
After your order is placed, depending on the products you have purchased I will organize delivery to you, either hand delivered, or by express post. This may take up to 6 weeks, if you have chosen a framed image, or a matted album. I will require a 50% payment before I order your products. The balance will be due on delivery.
